This advanced fine-art cross stitch design, A Field of Tulips in Holland, was developed from an 1886 painting done by the well-known French artist, Claude Monet, during his stay at The Hague in the Netherlands. Monet chose this beautiful spring location of tulip fields near Sassenheim in the Netherlands to paint the classic Dutch windmill. The painting is a true impressionist painting and can be found at the Musée d'Orsay in Paris, France.
