Flowers are an important element in our lives, and floral images and designs are used everywhere. Who doesn’t love to look at a beautiful flower! Almost every artist has done paintings of flowers . . . if not a still-life painting of a floral arrangement; they would include them in the background or somewhere in the painting. Some of the most famous floral artists were Henri Fantin-Latour, Vincent van Gogh, Édouard Manet, Claude Monet and Gustave Courbet.
