This advanced fine-art cross stitch design was developed from A Girl with a Watering Can, a painting done by Impressionist artist, August Renoir in 1876. It is thought that this painting was done in Monet's famous garden at Argenteuil in France. The subject of the painting is Mademoiselle Leclere wearing a deep blue dress and a bright red bow in her hair and holding a watering can. This painting resides at the National Gallery of Art, Washington, DC.
