This fine-art cross stitch chart, The Red Tower (also known as Champs de Mars) was developed from a 1911 painting by French artist Robert Delaunay. This is a painting of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, seen through the interpretation of the artist. He accented the Eiffel Tower's presence through the use of both tall and short buildings to create a frame, which made it soar as a massive structure through wing-like clouds and light. This painting resides at the Art Institute of Chicago.
