This is a fine art, advanced cross-stitch design of The Chateau at La Roche-Guyon, a 1909 painting by Georges Braque. This is an art style known as Cubism, which shows a continuation of the fragmentation of form and the elaborate surface. Braque was a major 20th century French painter and sculptor who developed the art style of Cubism in collaboration with Pablo Picasso. The Chateau at LaRoche-Guyan gives the interesting little town of La Roche-Guyon, located by the Seine, its own historic chateau. It is famous for being the first troglodytic (cave dwelling) chateau in France. It's about an hour's drive from Paris.
