This fine-art cross stitch chart, Simultaneous Windows, was created from a 1912 painting by French artist Robert Delaunay who introduced vibrant color and Cubism (became known as Orphism) through his paintings. He was an important figure in 20th century art. He chose the Parisian Gothic church Saint-Séverin as the subject for this painting and used his artistic interpretation when charting the light as it streamed through the stained-glass windows. This painting resides at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York City.
