Dance at the Moulin de la Galette, created by Auguste Renoir in 1876, is considered Renoir's most important work of the mid 1870s. We chose this painting for our advanced fine-art cross stitch design library because of its portrayal of such a vivacious and joyful atmosphere which was common at the popular dance garden on the Butte Montmartre.
