Rather than the heavy black lines of his earlier work, Mondrian filled this composition with pulsing blocks of yellow, red, blue, and gray, creating a vibrant sense of motion and urban energy.
Widely regarded as one of Mondrian’s greatest achievements, the painting combines geometric precision with lively visual rhythm, transforming abstraction into something joyful, musical, and deeply modern.
