This is a cross stitch pattern of a beautiful painting by Lyonel Feininger. He painted Jesuits III in 1915 at the height of his Expressionist period, although it does have some Cubist influences. The painting depicts clerics surrounding a prostitute, but the subjects are second to Feininger's use of color and shape. This painting sold in 2007 at Sotheby's for more than $23,000,000 USD.
