In 1920 Lyonel Feininger painted a beautiful painting called Hopfgarten in Cubist style. Over the years Feininger developed a subset of Cubism called Prismism which is represented in this painting. The trees and houses were from a provincial village in Germany where Feininger lived at the time. Serenity Stitchworks is very happy to have the cross stitch design shown above which was developed from this painting.

Review of order
Hi! I’ve really enjoyed using the pdf and book ordering. The large print charts are great. I purchased two projects-I got Hopfgarten printed off and have started it. My printer ran out of ink before the second project could be printed. Tell me please are the projects from Amazon always the same or are there others offered periodically. The book projects look so nice but there is a lot more variety by pdf. I love them either way-Linda
