This is a fine art, advanced cross-stitch design of Flowers, Roses by Henri Fantin-Latour, a French painter best known for his flower paintings and group portraits of Parisian artists and writers. His style remained conservative although he befriended several of the young artists who would later be associated with Impressionism. His floral paintings are beautiful and very much in demand. The background in this painting is so interesting, you don't need to get to the flowers to make this a very enjoyable stitching design.
