Reminisce back to the time of elegance! This is a wonderful silhouette of a woman, dressed in all her finery, with her dog. This would grace any décor – even the very modern. We have developed three options for color combinations, but it’s a simple design so you can easily create your own color scheme. If you don’t want to fill in the background, you can choose a fabric such as linen, Lugana, Jobelan, etc. which will look beautiful on its own. We have included scanned swatches (with DMC floss numbers) of the colors recommended for the design. We thought this would be helpful because every computer monitor displays colors differently. Fabric size necessary for design:
Add six inches to both length and width (3″ on each side)

Recommended fabrics in white or cream:
Aida Cloth for 14 and 18 count, Lugana for 20 count, Hardanger for 22 count

This, as well as all designs in our collection, can also be worked with one strand of floss over one thread. Even-weave fabrics with thread counts between 25 and 28 per inch would be appropriate for this. Suitable fabric recommendations are linens, Cashel, Etamin, Jobelan, Lugana, etc.

Each PDF file contains a color photo of the design, the design chart, the page layout for the chart, a DMC Cotton Floss color key for the chart symbols, and cross stitch instructions.
